Meaning Of Our Name
“Terra Firma” is Latin for firm land. It has the meaning of “Solid Ground” and the findings of any investigation must have solid groundings.
Investigations
My Background
I have been a licenced private investigator since 2016. Prior to this, my investigative background was with the New Zealand Police with two decades of work in the Criminal Investigation Branch investigating serious criminal offending. In that time, I ran a lot of criminal cases and trials. These range from the lower end to the top in scale of offending. As such I am well versed in New Zealand legislation.
In addition to this, I undertook a secondment at the Serious Fraud Office, investigating fraud and corruption, and I had fixed term contract at Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment. I have a experience in multi-agency investigations and have a good understanding of government agencies and their processes which has enabled me to advise clients appropriately.
My experience also includes managing the fraud function of a large Insurance company, and I was previously a member of the Fraud Panel of the “International Federation of Health Plans,” focusing on “Fraud, Abuse, Waste and Errors” (F.A.W.E.) in the insurance sector. I have extensive experience in covert operations, running surveillance operations and reporting on these.

I am Auckland based but have worked the length of the country, travelled for cases and have associates in all the main centres that I utilise.
I have a philosophy that I must do the right thing by my clients and be outcome based. That means finding the best solution for them in the quickest time. I call things how they are in the best interest of my clients. Overall, my experience has proved invaluable to my clients in achieving their desired outcomes.
In my spare time, when not walking the dog, I enjoy a bit of golf, hunting and fishing.
