Welcome to “Terra Firma Investigations.” A Private Investigation company based in Parnell, Auckland. Despite being Auckland based we are able to carry out investigations anywhere in New Zealand with a network of Investigators.
Meaning Of Our Name
“Terra Firma” is Latin for firm land. It has the meaning of “Solid Ground” and the findings of any investigation must have solid groundings.

Surveillance is a very useful investigative tool. We use surveillance for private and business investigations, either physical surveillance or by way of cameras.
Director
Simon Lamond
I have been a licenced private investigator since 2016. Prior to this, my investigative background was with the New Zealand Police with two decades of work in the Criminal Investigation Branch. I also undertook a secondment at the Serious Fraud Office and a fixed term contract at Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment. I have a history of multi-agency investigations and have a good knowledge of the government agencies and their processes. Further, I have managed the fraud function of a large Insurance company.
